LUMBERTON — An animal cruelty investigation is under way in Robeson County after more than 300 animals died at a location in Orrum on during flooding from Hurricane Florence.The animals were discovered Friday after a utility worker contacted a volunteer from K9 Global Rescue, telling them to go to Skeeter Lane, between U.S. 74 and N.C. 130.
