22,000 without power in Cumberland County
More than 10,000 customers in the Fayetteville area were without power as of 4:30 p.m., while tens of thousands more in the Sandhills were in the dark. It may be days before electricity is restored for many homes.The Fayetteville Works Commission reported 10,397 outages.
