Van overturns on U.S. 1 in Moore County killing one
CARTHAGE — One person was killed Monday in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. 1 near Cameron.The wreck happened about 6:25 p.m. on the 1400 block of U.S 1., according to Frank Staples of the Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue, which responded.Five people were in the Dodge that ran off the road and overturned, Staples reported.One person was taken to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.Southern Pines Fire and Rescue also responded.No other […]
