President Trump is considering Washington litigator Pat Cipollone to replace outgoing White House counsel Donald McGahn
Earlier this week, Trump interviewed Cipollone, a former Justice Department attorney who practices commercial litigation at Stein Mitchell Cipollone Beato & Missner, according to two people familiar with the president’s thinking. Cipollone has been working behind the scenes advising Trump’s outside legal team since June. This is a developing story. It will be updated.
