Lee County woman accused of setting fire to former home
SANFORD — A Sanford woman is accused of intentionally setting fire to her former residence in the Carbonton area, according to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office release.Rayma Lee Whitman, 35, of the 2600 block of Sheriff Watson Road, was charged Sunday with first-degree arson.Firefighters responded about 7:05 p.m. Sunday to a structure fire on the 100 block of Pickard Road.There were no injuries.The fire was deemed suspicious because no one was living in it and […]
