Kitchen fire sends resident to hospital, causes $50K damage
One person was sent to the hospital early Tuesday following a residential fire in the Arran Hills neighborhood in west Fayetteville, according to the Fire Department.Firefighters arrived at the home on the 6400 block of Kincross Avenue around 3:39 a.m. They found a resident on the front porch and smoke coming from the single-story home.Crews took the person to safety and began medical treatment before the person was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
