Kentucky woman drowns in Emerald Isle
Emerald Isle — The ocean claimed another life this weekend in Emerald Isle.The Town of Emerald Isle announced on their Facebook page Monday morning that 49-year-old Donna Due Miller, of Clay City, Kentucky, drowned Sunday evening.Miller was visiting the beach with a close friend and the friend’s 9-year-old daughter, all of whom were caught in a rip current just before 7 p.m., according to the post.
