Harnett County man shot to death outside home
LILLINGTON — A Harnett County man was shot to death outside his home on Jarvis Lane, off N.C. 55 between Erwin and Coats.Rodney Wells, 47, was shot in front of his residence about 3:55 p.m., according to a news release from the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office.Wells was pronounced dead at the scene.Lawmen are looking for a navy blue, older model passenger vehicle with chrome wheels that was in the area at the time of the shooting, the release said.
