Cross Creek Park getting new footbridge
A new and improved Cross Creek Park pedestrian bridge near the Marquis de Lafayette statue in Linear Park is expected to be open by Sept. 1.Flooding from Hurricane Matthew in October 2016 washed out the bridge, and a handicapped accessible one is being built in its place.It will have a slightly-sloped ramp instead of steps that people had to climb to access the bridge.
