4 rescued after boat engine fire off North Carolina coast
CARTERET COUNTY — The U.S. Coast Guard has rescued four people over the weekend after a boat’s engines caught fire off North Carolina. The rescue occurred Sunday night near Fort Macon State Park in the Back Sound. A Coast Guard news release says authorities received the distress call shortly before 6 p.m.A crew recovered three people from the water and one who was on the boat.
