CLINTON — Investigators combed through debris late Friday, trying to determine what started a fire that injured two people at a Sampson County liquid propane gas facility off U.S. 701, about 5½ miles north of Clinton.The fire at Rapid Xchange commercial LP facility at 6280 Hobbton Highway, which is U.S. 701, was reported at 2 p.m. when 911 operators received a call of multiple explosions.
