North Carolina fire chief charged with animal cruelty
BISCOE — Chief Mike Barrington of the Biscoe Fire Department has been charged with felony cruelty to animals, according to a criminal records search. Barrington, a former officer with the Biscoe Police Department, had been given custody of a police dog named Bruno after the animal was retired from service.
