1. Free dental clinic: Volunteers are needed to help with a free dental clinic Aug. 3-4 at the Crown Arena. Patients who qualify for the free care may receive X-rays, cleanings, fillings, extractions or partials for front teeth. The clinic is sponsored through the N.C. Missions of Mercy. Volunteers are needed to help with setup on Aug. 2 and to work in the clinic for patient treatment the other two days.
