The State Public Health Lab in Raleigh has confirmed a case of rabies on the 3300 block of Legion Road in Hope Mills, according to a news release from Cumberland County Animal Control.This is the first case of rabies in Cumberland County in 2018.On Tuesday, Animal Control received a call from a veterinary hospital in Cumberland County about a kitten displaying rabies symptoms.
