FEMA awarding Fair Bluff, Robeson County $5.6 million
The town of Fair Bluff and Robeson County are among the areas in North Carolina that will receive an overall $16.8 million from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to lessen future flood loss, it was announced Wednesday.A news release said the money is being awarded to fund seven mitigation projects to elevate, remove or reconstruct residences in the towns of Fair Bluff and Windsor, and in the counties of Robeson, Johnston, Pender and Wayne.
