Fayetteville man charged in 1989 sexual assault case
A Fayetteville man was charged Monday with sexually assaulting a woman 28 years ago.Antonio L. McNeil, 55, of the 2300 block of Slater Avenue, is charged with second-degree rape, second-degree sex offense and first-degree kidnapping, a Fayetteville police news release said.The assault happened Nov. 22, 1989, in a wooded area along the 2500 block of Murchison Road, in the area of Gillis Street and Slater Avenue, said Sgt.
