Armored truck crashes in Moore County
Two people were injured when an armored truck overturned on U.S. 1 in Moore County on Wednesday.The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. near the interchange with N.C. 690 outside of Vass.Vass police and the Highway Patrol said the GardaWorld vehicle ran off the roadway, landing on its passenger side and sliding a short distance before turning right-side up.Two people were transported by ambulance to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
