Woman charged with murder in 2015 shooting death of man
A Fayetteville woman was arrested Monday in a 2015 homicide, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said.Sheri Williams Jones, 57, of the 6500 block of Sangri Lane, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 61-year-old Clarence Roy Smith, whose address was not given, a Sheriff’s Office news release said.On June 10, 2015, deputies were called to a home on Sangri Lane after someone called 911 and said that Jones had shot Smith, the release said.Deputies arrived […]
