Trees downed, roof torn off mobile home during severe storm in Robeson County
LUMBERTON — Several trees were downed and a roof peeled off a mobile home as a severe thunderstorm rumbled through Robeson County this afternoon.The storm moved through the county about 5:05 p.m., said Terry Lebo, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service’s office in Wilmington.The area south of Lumberton was hardest hit, Lebo said, although there were reports of downed trees in St. Pauls.About 75 percent of the roof was torn away from the home in the […]
