Trail envisioned from state park to Cape Fear River
The Sandhills Area Land Trust is working on a new initiative aimed at conserving land while enhancing outdoor recreation opportunities.The organization wants to protect land around Carver’s Creek so a trail can be established from Carver’s Creek State Park to the Cape Fear River.The group is working with the state Division of Parks and Recreation and the Fayetteville-Cumberland County Parks & Recreation Department on the project.
