Robber took money from homeless man, ran through Fayetteville mall
Fayetteville police say a gunman robbed a homeless man of his money, fled on a bicycle, broke into Cross Creek Mall and ran through the shopping center.The incident started about 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the BP gas station and convenience on Skibo Road at Morganton Road, next to the mall.“The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was behind the gas station when he was approached by an unknown suspect,” a news release from the Police Department says.
