Fayetteville’s splash pads will stay open until 8 p.m. during the heat wave this week that will have temperatures soaring to near 100 degrees.Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation says the splash pads usually close at 6 p.m.The hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and Saturday, and Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. through Sept. 1.Splash pads that opened this year are at the Kiwanis Recreation Center, 352 Devers St. near FTCC; Massey Hill Recreation Center, 1612 […]
