Filter systems removing GenX from contaminated water
Water filtration systems installed at homes contaminated with GenX successfully removed the potentially harmful chemical and other similar compounds, state records show.The state Department of Environmental Quality posted results Thursday from tests of a pilot project of six granular activated carbon filtration systems.
