Fayetteville pedestrian survives being hit by train
A man survived being struck by a CSX freight train Friday night between Whitfield and Blount streets.It happened about 8:45 p.m. His injuries are not life-threatening, according to emergency responders. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.The train was stopped on the tracks crossing Whitfield Street.
