Cumberland County commissioners, school board approve funding deal
The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners and the Board of Education reached an agreement Monday on funding for Cumberland County Schools.The agreement calls for the school system to get $80.15 million in county funds during the next fiscal year.The school board had asked for $85.88 million.The deal was approved unanimously by both boards.
