Behind the Wheel: Gas prices edge lower in time for July 4th holiday
If gas prices seem a little lower to you, they are.The folks at AAA Carolinas broke it down in a news release on Wednesday:“At $2.85, the national gas price average is 5 cents cheaper than a week ago, 12 cents less than a month ago, but 58 cents more than a year ago.”Prices have been dropping steadily since Memorial Day, the auto club said, and 49 states saw prices at the pump drop over a week.
