Apparent body found when tree uprooted at Hilton Head
BLUFFTON — What appear to be human remains have been found when workers uprooted a tree near the South Carolina coast. The Island Packet of Hilton Head reported workers were removing a tree at the Waddell Mariculture Center in Bluffton on Wednesday when the remains were found.Center director Al Stokes says he talked with an area archaeologist and pathologist and was told they appeared to be very old human bones.
