7-foot-long boa constrictor escapes captivity in North Carolina
Burlington—A Burlington woman has lost her boa constrictor. The snake disappeared about 3 a.m. Sunday, June 24, Wolf Massey posted on Facebook. Massey mistakenly left its enclosure unlocked, which led to its escape, she wrote. The nonvenomous female snake is 7 feet long and weighs 28 pounds. She was last seen near St. Mark’s Church Road.
