2 displaced by house fire off Strickland Bridge Road
A fire that damaged a home Tuesday in the Beaver Creek North neighborhood off Strickland Bridge Road displaced two people, according to the Fayetteville Fire/Emergency Management Department.The fire at 1653 Winnabow Drive, near Cold Harbor Drive, was reported at 3:32 p.m.The fire began outside the single-story home and spread up the side of the structure into the attic, a release said.The cause was ruled accidental, but the release did not say how the fire started.
