Whitfield Street rail crossing blocked; drivers should use MLK Freeway
A train breakdown has blocked the Whitfield Street rail crossing, a CSX spokeswoman said.The problem was traced to engine issues with the locomotive that was pulling the train to Rocky Mount, she said.A service team from the CSX Transporation Office in Fayetteville is working to get a working locomotive for the train, the spokeswoman said.She did not know how long the crossing will be blocked.
