RAEFORD — A Raeford couple is accused of breaking into homes under construction in two subdivisions and stealing copper wiring, the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.Benjamin Benton, 44, and Cindy E. Benton, 45, both of the 800 block of Carolina Drive, were charged with eight counts each of breaking and entering, larceny and conspiracy.
