Stewarts Creek fire sparked by unattended cooking
Investigators determined that unattended cooking sparked a fire Saturday morning at Stewarts Creek condominiums.The Fayetteville Fire Department found smoke coming from the third floor stairwell when arriving at the units on Brookhollow Drive about 11:45 a.m. Firefighters contained the fire to the kitchen of an apartment.An adjacent unit had minor smoke and water damage, according to the Fire Department.Damage was estimated at $12,000.The four people received […]
