Sampson County Sheriff's Office investigating weekend homicide
CLINTON — A Louisiana man was shot to death Saturday in Clinton, according to a Sampson County Sheriff’s Office report.The shooting was reported at 10:58 p.m. on the 100 block of Kent Circle, which is off Indian Town Road, about a half-mile from Clinton High School, the report said.The victim was identified as Willie Junior Melvin, 33, of Ville Platte.No other information was available.
