North Carolina teen charged with creating hit list
FRANKLIN — A 16-year-old western North Carolina high school student has been arrested after authorities say he created a hit list and had a number of guns in his home.The district attorney who covers Macon County told media outlets the Franklin High School student has been charged with communicating threats.District Attorney Ashley Welch said Wednesday most of the charges are misdemeanors, except for one count of threatening a public official, a member of Welch’s staff.
