More school nurses needed, health director says
The head of the Cumberland County Health Department hopes a proposal to add seven school nursing positions to the county budget becomes the first step in improving the county’s ratio of school nurses to students.The county is 115th out of 115 school systems in the state based on its ratio of one school nurse for about every 2,200 students.
