More rain expected for Western NC counties for several days; Public urged to stay alert
Henderson County — The beginning of a storm system expected to last a week or more flooded roads, downed power lines and trees and dumped several inches of rain on Henderson County and the surrounding area Wednesday. Daily showers and thunderstorms are expected to last at least into Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
