Modi's ruling party leading in Indian state election, vote count shows
NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India’s ruling party was leading on Monday but was short of an outright majority as votes were counted from an election in a big southern state seen as a gauge of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity ahead of general elections next year.
