Inmate sets mattress on fire at jail, forces others to move
GOLDSBORO— An inmate at a North Carolina jail set a mattress on fire, forcing officials to move other inmates to a different floor and leading to traffic detours around the courthouse. The Goldsboro News-Argus reports authorities say no injuries were reported following the fire on the second floor of the Wayne County jail on Thursday.
