HOPE MILLS – By a 3-2 vote, the Hope Mills Board of Commissioners voted Monday night to censure Mayor Pro Tem Mike Mitchell.The vote came after Mitchell raised concerns about some members’ involvement in a private Facebook group called Hope Mills Chatter.Commissioner Jessie Bellflowers made the motion to censure.Bellflowers, Jerry Legge and Meg Larson voted for the censure.
