Fayetteville police: Suspect wanted for multiple fraud charges
Fayetteville police are looking for a Whiteville man charged with defrauding businesses and workers for more than $450,000.William Franklin Adams, 52, of the 90 block of Tanglewood Acres Drive, is charged with three counts of forgery, two counts of uttering a forged instrument, possession of a counterfeit instrument and four counts of obtaining property by false pretense, according to a Fayetteville Police Department news release.
