Dollar General robber gets 6 to 8 years in prison
ELIZABETHTOWN — A Clarkton man accused of trying to rob a Dollar General store in Elizabethtown was sentenced Tuesday to six to eight years in prison.Christopher Autry, 21, pleaded guilty in Bladen County Superior Court to attempted armed robbery and possession of firearm by a felon, according to the District Attorney’s Office.In December, Autry pointed a gun at an employee of the store on West Broad Street and demanded money from the safe.
