1 killed in I-95 wreck near Hope Mills
An Alabama woman was killed Friday morning when her car crossed the median on Interstate 95 near Hope Mills and crashed into a Pepsi cola tractor-trailer, the N.C. Highway Patrol said.The wreck shut down the northbound lanes for just more than five hours, creating a traffic backup as drivers were diverted onto U.S. 301.It happened at 7:30 a.m., 1.2 miles south of Hope Mills and about a half-mile south of the N.C. 59 exit, according to a report filed by Trooper J.B.
