Suspect in car theft at hospital arrested
A man wanted for pulling a woman out of her car and stealing it in the parking lot of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center surrendered to lawmen Wednesday night, Fayetteville police said.Edward Eugene Elliott, 58, is charged with common law robbery, attempted abduction of a child, possessing a stolen motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.The woman managed to get her 10-month-old child out of a car seat before the man drove away.
