School board discusses need for teachers and safety concerns
The Cumberland County school board might have to choose between paying for more teachers at schools in high poverty areas and funding more school resource officers in elementary schools.The board’s Personnel Committee talked about a special allocation for the schools in high poverty areas at its meeting Thursday.
