Police to use drones to find missing people, fleeing suspects
The Fayetteville Police Department has launched a new public safety tool to help keep residents safe.The Aviation Unit comprises trained officers from different departments who will be trained in the use of Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems, according to a news release.The drones will be used to look for missing people, search for suspects who are fleeing on foot from officers, assist in swift water rescue operations and conduct supply drops after a natural disaster.The […]
