Police name victims of double homicide
A woman planning to take her mother on a routine trip to the doctor stumbled upon a grim murder scene Wednesday afternoon.Brenda Campbell Henson, 68, was dead on the living room couch in the 2511 Mary Ave., Gastonia, home she had owned for more than 20 years. On the floor lay a man, also dead, who the caller didn’t recognize. Police identified the man Thursday afternoon as Robert Bryan Metcalfe, 47, of 305 W.
