Moore County man impaled, airlifted for treatment
A man was airlifted to a trauma center Saturday afternoon after falling and becoming impaled on a piece of metal outside of Southern Pines.Emergency responders were dispatched around 1:30 pm to a home in the 100 block of Loden Drive near the airport to reports of a man falling out of the back of a moving truck and becoming impaled through his back by a metal rack.
