Lumberton man charged with statutory rape
LUMBERTON — A Lumberton man is accused of sexually assaulting a child, according to a news release from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.Darnell Singletary, 40, was charged Friday with statutory rape of a child.The alleged assault was reported to the Sheriff’s Office about 7:50 a.m. on April 21, the release said.
