Fayetteville gas station clerk shoots armed robber, police say
A clerk at a gas station on Cedar Creek Road shot and wounded one of two armed robbers on Wednesday night, Fayetteville police said.The two masked robbers went into the Five Star BP near Interstate 95 around 9:50 p.m. The clerk “equipped himself with his own firearm” and fired toward the robbers, striking one of them, police said.
