Erwin fire claims life of woman
LILLINGTON – One person died when an Erwin home caught fire Thursday, according to a Harnett County Emergency Services news release.Sherry Jean Harris, 52, was found in the bedroom of her home at 121 Lamm Ave., shortly after the fire was reported at 9:53 p.m., the release said.The fire was primarily contained to the bedroom at the front of the house.The cause of the fire has not been determined.The Harnett County Fire Marshal and Sheriff’s offices are […]
